On October 20, 2022 at the headquarters of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly an extended meeting of the Expert Council on Healthcare at the IPA CIS was held with the participation of representatives of the academies of sciences of the Commonwealth states. The main topic for the experts’ discussion was the current problems of scientific, scientific-technical and international cooperation in the field of bioethics and evidence-based medicine.

The meeting addressed the following issues:

on the expediency of expanding the platform for interstate interaction of experts and establishment of the International Academic Working Group on the development of evidence bases in health care, bioethics and biosafety of the CIS countries;
experience of normative-legal regulation of biosafety and bioethics in the Republic of Belarus;
prospects for cooperation on bioethics in health care;
mechanisms of international scientific, technical and innovation cooperation in the CIS member states;
on innovative development of inhalation NO-therapy, hardware solutions for nitric oxide therapy in the postoperative period of cardiac surgery;
development plan of the GM SERP (Global Medical Scientific Educational Research Platform);
final stage of registration of the International Bioethics Institute in the capital of Armenia.
