During the event, the official statistics on the incidence of the coronavirus infection among minors in Russia in 2020 and 2021 were reviewed, and a public expert discussion and comprehensive risk assessment of government measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among the child population was conducted. ECHD's proposal concerning the necessity of creating a Coordinating Council on Bioethics at the State Duma was welcomed by the participants of the event. At the end the participants adopted a resolution, which was sent to the President, the Government, the Ministry of Health, and the heads of public organizations.
